One killed, 4 injured in Matador accident

KATHUA, Oct 3: One person was killed and four others were injured in Matador accident that took place at Mahanpur near here, today.
The accident took place when a matador bearing Registration Number, JK08B 3377 being driven by Mukesh Singh, son of Balwan Singh on its way from Dhamlar towards Mahanpur. The driver lost the control of Matador and vehicle turned turtle on the road near village Kathad.
The accident caused injuries to four persons out of which one person was referred to GMC Kathua as no doctor was present at Taruma Hospital, Mahanpur.
The injured were identified as Dinesh Singh, 21, son of Ashok Kumar, Karan Thakur, 18, son of Kuldeep Singh and Vansh 15, son of Ashok Kumar. They were shifted to PHC Mahanpur for first aid. , Dinesh Singh, son of Ashok Kumar who was referred to GMC Kathua succumbed to his injuries in the Hospital. His father said the negligence of doctors was cause behind the death of his son.
He has also accused the Trauma Hospital Mahanpur for negligence as there was no doctor present in the hospital. Only junior medical staff was not capable to treat the injured person.
Mahanpur police has registered a case in this connection.
