One killed, 4 injured in road accidents

SRINAGAR, July 5: One person died while as four others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley. Meanwhile, a person who was injured in a road accident on Wednesday succumbed to his injuries today.
Reports said that an unidentified vehicle hit an unidentified pedestrian aged about 30 years, seeming to be a beggar at National Highway near Chandhara Crossing, Awantipora. The beggar died on spot while as police registered a case.
A woman identified as Rafeeqa wife of Gulzar Ahmad resident of Mansoor Colony, Bemina, who was injured in road accident on July 4 at Mansoor Colony Bemina succumbed to her injuries at SKIMS Soura today
An Alto Car bearing registration number JK18/4401 hit and injured one Tufail Ahmad Itoo, aged 12 years, son of Mohammad Ayoub resident of Rampora-Qaimoh, Kulgam at Kulgam. The injured was shifted to Emergency Hospital Qazigund and a case has been registered.
A Xylo bearing registration number JK02AP/0297 collided with an Indica car bearing registration number JK02AH/0377 at Gulab Bagh, Toll Post at Kulgam. The mishap resulted in injuries to three persons Girdari Aggarwal, aged 26 years, son of Gopal Krishan resident of Patna, his wife Prachi aged 25 years and Abishekhar aged 20 years, son of Raj Kapoor resident of Delhi. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment while as police have registered a case.
