One killed, 5 injured in Tata Qualis-truck collision

JAMMU, June 10: One person got killed and five others were injured, when the Tata Qualis vehicle they were traveling in collided with a truck at Panjgrian, Nagrota.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK02T-522 was on its way from Jammu to Udhampur side, collided with a truck at Panjgrain in Nagrota resulting into on the spot death of one person and injuries to five others.
After getting information, police team led by SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bhushan Sharma rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body and injured to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
The deceased have been identified as Dev Raj, son of Pontha Ram of Kapurthala, Punjab.
The condition of the injured identified as Maya Devi, wife of Dev Raj, her son Ajay Kumar, daughter Darshana Devi and Shagun Bala, daughter of late Sat Pal, were responding to the treatment, when reports last came in.
A case in this regard has been registered at concerned police station and investigation started.
