One killed, 6 injured in road mishaps

REASI, Dec 19: In two separate road accidents, here today, a teenaged bike rider died while six passengers, including a mother along with her two minor children, were injured when their vehicle rolled down in deep gorge.
Reports said that a Pulsar bike, bearing registration number JK20C- 3274 skidded off the road and slipped into deep Nallah near Dungi, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Poni, resulting into on the spot death of the rider.
The deceased was identified as Jasbir Singh, age around 17 years, son of Raj Singh, resident of Fargal, Ransoo, tehsil Pouni, district Reasi. He was on way from Ransoo towards Bhambla side when met with the accident.
Meanwhile, a vehicle bearing registration number JK20B- 6882, which was on way from Kunderdan to Mamankote, feel into deep gorge near Ladwas, resulting into injuries to six passengers.
All the injured were shifted to CHC Budhal from where one of them was referred to GMC Hospital Rajouri for the advanced treatment.
The injured were identified as Mohd Ashraf (driver), age 30 years, son of Bashir Ahmed, resident of Kunderdhan Chassana (referred to GMC Rajouri); Shakeela Begam, age 28 years, wife of Maneer Hussain, resident of Mamankote, her one month old daughter Zarina Begam and 12-year old son Zulafkar; Balwan Singh, age 21 years, son of Beli Ram, resident of Nandkote Chassana and Mumina Akhtar, age 17 years, daughter of Shabir Ahmed, resident of Mamankote Chassana.
