SRINAGAR, Oct 16: One person died while as eight others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.
Reports said that a Tipper JK03A/7857 collided with a Scorpio bearing registration number JK05B/0155 near Ringi-Baramulla, resulting in injuries to six passengers. Among the injured 70 years old Ghulam Rasool Raina son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Salamabad, Uri succumbed to his injures on way to the hospital. The rest were shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Santro Car JK09/5195 on way from Handwara to Baramulla collided with a Tractor at Ladoora, Rafiabad, resulting in injuries to Mugli wife of Ghulam Hassan Dar resident of Ladoora. The injured was shifted to District Hospital, Baramulla for treatment.
A motorcycle JK05/7115 hit and injured Haja Begum, wife of Late Ghulam Mohammad Lone, resident of Fatehgarh near Fatehgarh, Baramulla. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Tipper JK01F/2919 hit and injured Abdul Rashid Wani son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Sarbagi-Ramsoo, Ramban near Zanatrag-Khrew. The injured was shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital, Srinagar for treatment.
The police has taken cognizance.
