One killed, 8 injured in different road mishaps

SRINAGAR, Oct 1: One person died while as eight others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
Reports said that an unidentified vehicle hit and injured Mohammad Shafi Raina, son of Abdul Gani Raina resident of Magraypora, Achabal near Railway crossing-Nowgam. The injured was shifted to SMHS, Srinagar for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
A Tata Sumo JK03/5560 hit and injured Beenish Gulzar age 13 years, son of Gulzar Ahmad Decha resident Dessu, Kokernag-Anantnag. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Maruti car JK01E/3207 hit and injured one Hilal Ahmad Lone, son of Mohammad Subhan Lone resident of Brameri, Kupwara. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Tata Sumo hit and injured a girl Bilkeesa Mushtaq aged 12 years, daughter of Mushtaq Ahmad Lone resident of Udipora at Vodipora, Kralgund. The injured girl was shifted to the hospital for treatment.
An Auto rickshaw CH-09823 hit and injured Abdul Gani Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar resident of Lirrow, Kulgam. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Maruti Van JK01B/3846 hit and injured Ali Mohammad Wani, Son of Ghulam Mohammad Resident of Seel, Beerwah near JVC hospital, Parimpora. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A tipper collided with a Maruti Car JK04/0877 at Bemina, resulting in injuries to three persons boarding the Maruti car. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has taken cognizance in all the above cases.
