SRINAGAR, Aug 26: One person died while as eight others were injured in different road accident across the Valley.
Reports said that a bus bearing registration number JK01E/0484 hit a three year old girl Sadia Marifat daughter of Syed Marifat resident of Beerwah at Agrikalan, Magam, resulting in her injuries. The injured Sadia was shifted to PHC Magam where doctors declared her brought dead. The body of girl was handed over to her next of kin for last rites.
A Tavera bearing registration number JK03C/6679 collided with an Army vehicle bearing registration number OD-128670-N near Sempora-Pantha Chowk, resulting in injuries to four persons namely Khurshid Ahmad Najar son of Abdul Aziz resident of Seer Hamdan, Anantnag the driver of the vehicle, Zaina wife of Abdul Salam Khan resident of Seer Hamdan, Manzoor Ahmad Khan son of Muhammad Ramzan resident of Ranbirpora and Yasmeena wife of Manzoor Ahmad. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05C/1329 hit and injured a lady Azi aged 70 years resident of Narbal near Narbal, Budgam. The injured lady was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A truck bearing registration number JK02L/5287 hit and injured a pedestrian Alam resident of Reshipora at Sopat, Devsar. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A motorcycle bearing registration number 8581/JK01 hit and injured a lady Zareefa wife of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din resident of Nowpora, Sopore near Model town Sopore. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A gypsy bearing registration number JK01Q/6163 of JKTDC collided with an Auto load carrier bearing registration number JK01J/2019 at Zaldagar, resulting in injuries to the driver of the load carrier Muhammad Shafi Fafoo son of Ghulam Muhammad resident of Fateh Kadal. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
