UDHAMPUR, July 10: One person died and eight others were injured in two different road accidents at Ramnagar and on Bypass National Highway Udhampur.
Reports said that a Tractor Trolley, bearing registration number JK14A- 6311 and carrying four persons, rolled down near village Plassan in Ramnagar Tehsil. Locals and police shifted the injured persons to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar where one of them succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased was identified as Kuldeep Kumar (30), son of Soba Ram of Ward No. 06, village Dehari Tehsil Ramnagar. The injured were identified as Kartar Chand (45), son of Nanak Chand of Badol, Ajeet Kumar (32) son of Shiv Ram of Udhak and Gayatri Devi (65) wife of Soba Ram of Dehari.
Meanwhile, five persons of a family , travelling in a Wagon-R , were injured when their car was hit by a truck near Garni Lota on bypass National Highway. The Wagon-R (JK02BB-6005) was on way from Jammu to Kishtwar, when it met with the accident.
The injured were rushed to District Hospital Udhampur for treatment and they were identified as Rubina (50), wife of Nissar Ahmid, Muzaffar (27) son of Mohamed Ali Zargar, Nisar Ahmed Zargar (52) son of Abdul Rashid Zargar, Asif Arshad (26) son of Irshad Ahmd and Zamin (18) son of Nisar Ahmd, all residents of Kishtwar.
