JAMMU, Oct 5: One person was died while nine others injured in three separate road mishaps in different parts of Jammu region.
In Sarore area of Samba, an unknown vehicle hit one Baldev singh (75), son of Surjan Singh and resident of Meen Charakan, Bari Brahmana, this evening. In serious condition he was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where he succumbed to his injuries. His body was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital. The concerned police has also taken cognizance of the matter.
Another mishap took place between a Mahindra car and a Safari car at Machine Domana, about 10 kilometres from here. The mishap took place this afternoon between a Mahindra car bearing registration No JKO2AQ-3229 and a Safari car having registration No JKO2BA-0981.
The injured have been identified as Dr Showkat Choudhary son of Haji Mohd Shafi and resident of C-7 Block, Bakshi Nagar, his wife, Dr Rubina (40), his son, Master Arhaan (10), daughter, Sahreen (10) and another girl, Sazia (15) daughter of Bagh Rasool and resident of Bakshi Nagar.
All the injured persons were immediately shifted to GMCH, Jammu wherefrom they were later discharged after providing first aid. A case in this regard has been registered at Police Station Domana and further investigations are on.
Four persons were also injured in a collision between a Tata Mobile and a Tempo, which took place this evening at Mishriwala. The injured identified as Azhar Malik (24) son of BD Malik and resident of Budhal, Surjit Singh (35) son of Makhan Singh and resident of Rajouri, his son, Rounak (32) and Babu Ram (65) son of Late Moti lal and resident of Rehari, were immediately shifted to GMCH, Jammu where their condition is stated to be stable.
A case in this regard has been registered at concerned police station.
