JAMMU, Oct 18: One person was killed and another injured after a tractor rolled down the road in Gharota area of city outskirts.
According to the reports, a speeding tractor being driven by Vishal Singh (21) son of late Jagdeep Singh, resident of Keri (Gharota) rolled down the road at Keri near a pond, at about 6 PM today.
In the mishap, driver as well as one another person namely Kabal Singh (35) son of Jarnail Singh of Keri, which was accompanying the driver on the tractor, received serious injuries. Both the injured persons were rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where Vishal Singh was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
The dead body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the Hospital while a case in this connection was registered at police station Gharota and further investigation started.
