UDHAMPUR, July 28: A youth died and another sustained critical injuries in a collision of two Scooties at Dhar Road, near KV No. 2 School, Udhampur, here today.
The deceased was identified as Jattin Sharma (21), son of Dharam Paul Sharma of Garniee. He reportedly died on the spot while the rider of other Scooty, identified as Harish Singh (16), son of Surinder Singh of Kashira Udhampur, has sustained critical injuries and was rushed to o GMC Hospital Jammu.
Reports said that the accident took place when a Scooty bearing registration number JK14E-9582, collided head on with another Scooty without number. Police and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared one of them as brought dead .
