KATHUA, Apr 30: One youth was killed and another injured after the two motorcycles which they were driving collided with each other near Chatter Galla in Nagri Parole area of Kathua district this afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Sunny Deol, 19, son of Gareeb Dass. Sunny, who was driving the two wheeler in fast speed collided with another two -wheeler coming from opposite direction. Both the motorcyclists fell on ground in a pool of blood. While Sunny died on the spot, the another motorcyclist identified as Subash has been hospitalised. He is also in serious condition. The dead body of Sunny was handed over to family for last rites by police after postmortem at D H Kathua later.
The Kathua police has registered a case under Section 304 RPC and stated investigation.
