KISHTWAR, Mar 23: A vehicle here today fell from a road and landed on the road 150 feet below at the hilly area of Dhrabshalla leaving one person onboard dead and the other injured.
Sources informed that the accident took place at Zero Point in Dhrabshalla when driver of the vehicle of Mahindra Camper make bearing registration no. JK16B-6907 lost control over the vehicle and it fell 150 feet down on a Kacha road resulting in on spot death of one person and injuries to the other.
The deceased was identified as Ashish Kumar, son of Vidya Lal, resident of Kewa Bonjwah, Kishtwar.
The injured was shifted to CHC Thathri for medical treatment and he was identified as Sonu Parihaar, son of Kuldeep Parihaar, resident of Sarthal, Kishtwar.
After primary treatment he was referred to GMC Doda for specialised treatment.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
