JAMMU, Jan 16: One person was killed and another received serious injuries when their speeding bike rammed into divider of the road in Nagrota area of city outskirts.
According to police sources, two persons got critical injuries today when a bike on which they were travelling from Ramban to Jammu, rammed into divider of the road at Dhami (Nagrota).
The injured persons identified as Pardeep (34) son of Butta Ram and Subash Singh (35) son of Pavitar Singh, both residents of Ramban, were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where Subhash was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
“The body of the deceased was sent for postmortem while Nagrota police had taken cognizance of the matter,” sources added.
