RAJOURI, Jan 5: One person was killed after he was hit by a rashly driven Matador at Alfa Gate of Army in Rajouri this evening.
A police official said that Abdul Gafoor (47), son of Mohd Sayed, resident of village Manjidara Gurdan, was crossing the road at Alfa Gate at Rajouri when a speedy and rashly driven Matador crushed him causing serious injuries.
Some passerby shifted him to GMC Rajouri where he was given treatment and keeping in view his serious condition he was shifted to GMC Jammu but he died on the way.
Police has registered a case in this connection vide FIR No 4 U/S 279/337 in Police Station Rajouri and started investigation. Body was handed over to family after completion of legal formalities.
