KISHTWAR, Aug 10: One person was killed here today when the car he was travelling in skidded off the road and landed in a deep gorge on Sinthan road.
The deceased was identified as Farooq Ahmed Hajam, son of Abdul Gani Hajam, resident of Damber, Chatroo.
He was on way to Hawal from Damber on his car bearing registration number JK02AU-8129 which met with an accident leaving him dead.
After getting information about the accident locals and cops rushed to spot and retrieved the body and shifted it to the hospital.
After postmortem the body was handed over to the family members for last rites.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
