One killed in accident at Railway track; body found at Lakhanpur

KATHUA, Feb 8: One person was killed in an accident at Railway track while another dead body was found in Lakhanpur today.
A young person was crushed to death by a train engine on Jammu -Pathankot Railway track at Bagial Morh, this evening. He died on spot and body was recovered by Railway Police and sent to mortuary for post mortem. The police identified the dead persons as Sachin Kumar 25, son of Balbir Chand resident of Khokhyal , Kathua. Police has registered a case and started investigation into the matter.
A person also found dead at Lakhanpur this morning. He was found sleeping on a bench in front of a closed shop at Lakhanpur. He was lying dead when people tried to awaken him. The police took the body into its custody and shifted it to mortuary for identification. The police has started investigation and identification of unknown person.
