SRINAGAR, May 6: One person died in a road accident in South Kashmir today.
Reports said that a motorcycle bearing registration number JK03A/4781 had head on collision with a Tata passenger vehicle bearing registration number JK03B/3909 near Peer Takia, Kokernag. The collision resulted in critical injuries to the motorcyclist, Reyaz Ahmad Dar son of Mohammad Akbar resident of Nagam.
The injured was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag, where he succumbed to his injuries. The body of Reyaz has been handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. Police has registered a case and investigations have been taken up.
