UDHAMPUR, Mar 26: A person died in a road accident when a rashly driven tractor rammed into roadside drain on Kulwanta-Ramnagar road near Army base camp, here today.
The accident took place this evening around 7.30 pm when the tractor, bearing registration number JK14C-5546 and coming from Kulwanta towards Ramnagar rammed into roadside drain.
Due to this accident, the person sitting on the tractor died on the spot. He has been identified as Rohit Kumar, resident of Bangoti, Tehsil Nowshera, District Rajouri.
Later, the dead body was shifted to hospital while Police has registered a case in this connection.
