SAMBA, Oct 15: One person died in a road mishap at Jammu -Pathankot National Highway near 17 Miles today in Vijaypur today.
Police said one person after falling down from an unknown bus near 17 Miles on Jammu-Pathankot NH at Vijaypur today was hit by another bus bearing registration Number JK02CB 0281 and sustained serious injuries.
He was shifted to Government Hospital Vijaypur for treatment where doctors declared him as brought dead.
His dead body was kept in mortuary of Government Hospital Vijaypur for identification and autopsy. Vijaypur police has registered a case in this regard under relevant sections of the law.
