JAMMU, Jan 11: A 22 year old youth was today slipped to death from a mini-bus in Pounichak area of city outskirts while a man was injured in collision of two vehicles at Indra Nagar falling under the limits of police station Miran sahib.
According to a police spokesperson, the youth identified as Rishi Partap Singh (22) son of late Ajay Singh, a resident of Padhore in Gho- Manhasan area of city outskirts got slipped this evening from a mini-bus while boarding it off, came under its wheels and crushed to death.
The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for conducting post mortem tomorrow. A case in this connection was registered at concerned police station and further investigations were underway.
At Indra Nagar near Balore bridge, a car bearing registration number JK02AM-3856 collided head on with a bus bearing registration number JK02D-0209, this evening. In the mishap, the occupant of the car, identified as Aman Pal Singh, son of Ujagar Singh, a resident of Gole Gujral, suffered injuries. He was shifted to GMCH Jammu for treatment.
A case in this connection has been registered at police station Miran Sahib and efforts are on to nab the accused bus driver while both the vehicles involved in the accident have been seized.
