KISHTWAR, Sept 15: One person was killed and other injured as a JCB rolled down into a gorge in Tayari area of Padder here today in late evening.
Soon after the incident rescue operation was launched and two injured persons were retrieved and rushed to SDH Atholi, Padder where Fazaan Arshad, son of Mohd Arshad, resident of Gurdhan Balla, Rajouri was declared brought dead.
Other injured person Rakesh Kumar, son of Prem Singh, resident of Tiyari, Balwas was referred to District Hospital Kishtwar for treatment.
As per locals, one person was missing in the accident and efforts were on to trace him.
