One killed, three injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, Mar 21: One person was killed while three others were injured in different road accidents across Kashmir valley.
A police spokesman said a Maruti car bearing registration number JK05B-1986 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Abdul Rashid Teli near Kripalpora Payeen in Pattan area of Baramulla district along National Highway. “The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Pattan for treatment, wherefrom he was referred to SHMS hospital Srinagar for further treatment, but he succumbed to his injuries on way. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said an unknown TaTa Mobile vehicle hit and injure a pedestrian namely Mehraj Ahmad Bhat at Mazbugh in Sopore area of Baramulla district.
“The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore for treatment wherefrom he has been referred to Srinagar for further treatment.
The spokesman said a Safari vehicle bearing registration number DG/06-HD-8974, turned turtle near Khaigam in Rajpora area of Pulwama district, resulting in injuries to two persons namely Mahish Kumar and Nittu boarding the vehicle. “Both the injured were shifted to SMHS hospital Srinagar for treatment. Police registered a case in this regard,” he added.
