UDHAMPUR, Aug 25: One person was killed while two others were seriously injured, when the vehicle they were traveling in, skidded off the road and fell into a gorge near village Mand.
As per reports, an Alto car heading towards Srinagar from Jammu, skidded off the road and fell into the gorge near village Mand.
On getting information, police party from nearby police station rushed to the spot and with the help of locals shifted the injured to PHC Tikri, where doctors declared Mohd Ashraf, son of Ghulam Mohd of Srinagar as brought dead.
The two others namely Ghulam Mohd, son of Abdul Majid and Mahmood, son of Barkat, both resident of Srinagar, were undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
A case under relevant sections has been registered.
