SAMBA, June 13: One person died after he was hit by a speedy truck at Sabzi Mandi here while crossing the road today.
He was identified as Deepak Kumar, 32, S/o Ganga Ram R/o UP.
He was crossing the road when the truck over ran him resulting his instant death.
The truck bearing Registration Number JK02AS, 5213 was on way from Jammu to Kathua.
The dead body was shifted to mortuary of District Hospital Samba for the postmortem and in this regard Samba Police has registered a case and started investigation. The driver fled from the spot and police ahs launched a manhunt to arrest him.
