Srinagar, Mar 24: A 55-year-old woman from Nowhatta Srinagar died due to swine flu taking the death toll due to the deadly virus in Kashmir Valley to 13.
An official of the SIMS said that one fresh death has reported in last 24 hours in the hospital. “A woman from Nowhatta was admitted on March 4 to SKIMS and died today due to the virus. The patient had associated co-morbidities in form of CKD (chronic Kidney disease)”, the official said.
“53 patients were seen at the special OPD of the SKIMS hospital today out of which samples of 9 were taken for testing. The number of patients positive for H1N1 till date is 394”, the official said.
