One nabbed with 2 kg Ganja

JAMMU, May 25: Bahu Fort Police today apprehended a drug peddler with 2 kg of Ganja from Bahu Plaza area.
“A team Police Station Bahu Fort led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali while on naka duty near Bahu Plaza rounded up one suspect which was going towards Jammu from Railway Station and recovered 2 kg of Ganja from his possession on search,” a police spokesman said.
He said the accused identified as Sanjay Singh son of Jagannath Singh, resident of Fathepur, UP (at present Bikram Chowk, Jammu) was arrested on the spot and a case FIR number 142/2022 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bahu Fort.
Further investigation of the case was started, he added.
