JAMMU, Apr 15: Bishnah Police today arrested a drug peddler with 5100 psychotropic capsules and 5 Corex bottles.
“A team of Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Vikram Sharma while on naka duty near Ring Road Bishnah rounded up two suspects namely Muneer Shah alias Nana son of Maqsood Ali Shah of Chak Tara (Arnia) and Gara Ram son of Kewal Krishan of Ward Number 12 (Bishnah),” a Police spokesman said.
He said on search, 4000 Tramadol capsules were recovered from the possession of Muneer Shah while 1100 tablets of Alprazolam (0.5 mg) and 5 bottles of Corex were recovered from Gara Ram.
“In this connection, a case under FIR Number 89/23 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Bishnah and the accused arrested,” the spokesman said, adding, further investigation of the case was going on.
