SRINAGAR, Oct 7: One Private Members’ Bill seeking more effective provisions for the maintenance and welfare of parents and senior citizens was introduced in the Legislative Assembly today.
The Bill was moved by Ch. Zulafkar Ali.
The Bill of Syed Basharat Ahmed Bukhari and Peerzada Mansoor Hussain pertaining to provide certain protections against social injustices to the people of the State was withdrawn and rest of the Bills introduced were rejected by the House by voice vote.
