Undoubtedly, the news regarding implementation of the above said scheme to the ex-servicemen, before the next budget, as the Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said, must have pleased immensely millions of old warriors (soldiers), DE Dec 17.
The Govt’s decision for an early execution of the scheme, is indicative of its deep sense of welfarism for the soldiers. Since the nation sleeps only when the soldier awakes, any endeavour for their betterment is indispensible. Every gesture of sympathy boosts the morale of the retired personnel who too had rendered unfailing services for the mother land.
