One way traffic on Mughal Road from today

JAMMU,  Mar 30: As the snow at Pir Panchal Pass (Pir Ki Gali) has been cleared  by the R&B  authorities, the Traffic Police Department  has announced movement of one way traffic (light motor vehicles)  on Mughal Road from tomorrow.
The Chief Engineer Mughal Road Project had announced on Thursday opening of this road from March 31. He had claimed that by March 30 remaining snow will also be cleared at Pir Ki Gali (Pass).
IG Traffic J&K, Basant Rath  today declared  15- day schedule of traffic movement between Poonch and Shopian. On March 31 vehicles  will be allowed from Poonch to Shopian only and on April  Ist from Shopian to Poonch.
The drivers are advised not to stop in avalanche prone areas or danger zones. Joint Traffic police and District police nakas/ assistant booths have been  established at vulnerable places to faciloitate passengers/ operators.
The movement of one way traffic will be allowed up to April 15 in first phase. It will be reviewed  after 15 days, an official spokesman said.
