JAMMU, May 4: Judicial Magistrate Chenani Rekha Sharma today awarded one year imprisonment to Ajay Kumar in an attack case.
After hearing APP Sahlini Gupta for the police, Judicial Magistrate sentenced the accused person namely Ajay Kumar, son of Bishan Das of Chenani to undergo Simple Imprisonment of six months under Section 323 RPC and pay a fine of Rs 1000 under Section 323 RPC.
“In default of fine, the accused shall further suffer Simple Imprisonment of 15 days; and I also sentence the accused person to undergo Simple Imprisonment of one year under Section 325 RPC and pay a fine of Rs 2000 only and in default of fine to further suffer Simple Imprisonment of one month. Both the sentences shall run concurrently”, the Judicial Magistrate said.
