JAMMU, Apr 29 : ONGC has been conferred the “Gold Trophy of SCOPE Meritorious Award in the category of Corporate Social Responsibility and Responsiveness for 2011-12′.
The award was handed over by the President of India Pranab Mukherjee to ONGC CMD Sudhir Vasudeva on the occasion of Public Sector Day celebrated at New Delhi on April 26.
ONGC Director (HR) K S Jamestin accompanied CMD to receive the honours. Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Praful Patel was also present on the occasion.
