Online discussion held on ‘Anagat Kavita Aandolan’

JAMMU, July 24: All India Anagata Sahitya Sansthan, Lucknow and All India Sahitya Parishad, Ladakh, organized online discussion on Anagata poetry movement on the topic ‘Anagat Kavita Aandolan_ Aaj Aur Kal’.
Jammu’s senior poet, columnist and artist Rajeshwar Singh ‘Raju’, Dr Ajay Prasun, motivator-promoter of Anagat Poetry Movement and senior poet, Dr Jyoti Singh, Professor of Hindi Department of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat and Dr Rahul Mishra, Head of Department of Hindi, Central Institute of Buddhist Studies, Leh participated in the discussion.
In the discussion, Rajeshwar Singh ‘Raju’ also recited poetry of the poets of Jammu & Kashmir while keeping his views about Anagat poetry movement. Referring to the thought provoking poetry of Dr Satish Vimal, Sanjeev Bhasin as well as his own poetry work ‘Tawi Udas Thi ‘ Raju described the Anagat poetry movement as positive and humane poetry. Raju said that along with Hindi, this side of Anagat is also visible in Dogri poetry. He also recited his poems on the same content.
Renowned poet of Hindi and the motivator-promoter of Anagat Kavita Movement, Dr Ajay Prasun, said that Anagat poem talks about positivity. He said that the ideology of Anagat poetry movement has been appreciated by national poets and writers like Sohanlal Dwivedi, Amritlal Nagar etc. Dr Prasun also recited his poems.
Dr Jyoti Singh, who is from Surat, described Anagat poetry movement as focused on the life-view of the Sanatan traditions. He said that Anagat poetry is a poetry that stands in resistance to negativity, which has positivity and wishes for a happy future, and at the same time it has faith in humanity. For this reason, Anagat poetry is going to give a message to every generation, it is going to teach the art of living life, he added.
Convener of the discussion related to Leh-Ladhakh, Dr Rahul Mishra, said that the philosophy of Karmayog is visible in the Anagat poetry. At a time when Hindi poetry was confined to the realm of disillusionment, tragedy and dissatisfaction, the Anagat poetry movement gave a sense of positivity to the literary world, he said and added that Dr Ajay Prasoon enriched the Hindi poetry world by presenting the concept of Anagat Poetry Movement and he has performed the duty of a poet.
