NEW DELHI, May 8 : Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh said here today that only the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) can address New India’s youth aspirations because, unlike other political parties, BJP has the capacity to offer the youth of this country, opportunities based on merit, caliber and diligence, without considerations of family lineage or any other extraneous factor.
Addressing a series of mammoth public meetings in North Delhi, where a large number of Congressmen including former legislators as well as members of minority community joined the BJP fold, Dr Jitendra Singh said, with the passage of each day, more and more people, who earlier subscribed to other political parties or ideologies, have begun to realize that India’s future journey to glory can be accomplished only under a BJP dispensation led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The last five years of the Modi government, said Dr Jitendra Singh, were spent in meeting the long pending requirements like, for example, providing free gas connections to poor housewives and carrying out 100% rural electrification in un-electrified villages, and reiterated that the next five years will be devoted to addressing the aspirations, particularly those of the youth who comprise more than 70% of the country’s population today.
Dr Jitendra Singh said, BJP’s deep commitment to the fundamental principle of “justice to all, appeasement to none” stands vindicated by the fact that all the pro-poor and public welfare schemes initiated by the Modi government during the last five years have reached every needy household of India, without consideration of caste, religion or vote bank. He said, even those sections of society or community, which were earlier misled to believe that they will not get a fair deal under BJP rule, have got convinced in the last five years that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached out to the last man in the last queue in order to mitigate his sufferings.
Calling upon people to ensure maximum possible polling on the 12th of this month, Dr Jitendra Singh made a special appeal to first – time and young voters who, he said, have a special stake in the continuation of Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India.
