KATRA, Dec 5: BJP MLA from Jammu West, Arvind Gupta today assured the people that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, the BJP remains committed to addressing the needs and concerns of every citizen, ensuring progress and prosperity for all.
He appealed them to come forward and join the BJP, emphasizing that the party is the only one capable of fulfilling their aspirations.
Arvind Gupta, was addressing various gatherings of people while leading BJP’s ongoing ‘Sangathan Parv’ in various areas of Katra constituency in Reasi district. He addressed gatherings at Kakryal (Katra Mandal), Shridhar Chowk (Katra), Aghar Jitto (Baba Dhansar) and Reasi Bus Stand (Reasi Mandal) which was aimed to expand the party’s base in these areas. The event saw active participation from several prominent party leaders, including MLA Baldev Raj Sharma, who joined Arvind Gupta in motivating local residents to become part of the BJP family. Also present were Rohit Dubey, district president; Rajinder Mengi, Mandal president and DDC; Shashi Gupta, former Chairman of Municipality, Katra; Ritu Thakur, district president, Mahila Morcha; Manoj, Seh Prabhari; Subash Bhagat, Incharge of the Sadsyata Abhiyaan; Bablu Dubey; Ranjeet Singh, district vice president; Sohan Lal, general secretary; Kaka Ram, Booth president; Jagdish Raj, Shakti Kendra Pramukh; Pankaj Sharma; Sahil Sharma; Kailash Rani and Arjun Singh, among others.
Arvind Gupta, while addressing the gathering, expressed his gratitude to the party workers and the general public for their enthusiastic participation. He emphasized the BJP’s commitment to bringing development, welfare schemes, and addressing the concerns of the people of Jammu West constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, Arvind Gupta highlighted that the BJP has secured the highest number of votes and became single largest party in the recently concluded Assembly polls, reflecting growing support for the party in the Union Territory. He said that this membership drive is being conducted with an aim to connect the voters who supported the BJP in the Assembly elections. He stressed the need to maintain the trust and support of these voters by ensuring that their concerns are prioritized and that they continue to feel valued by the party. He further underscored the importance of keeping the momentum of the membership drive high to reach every corner of J&K.
