MENDHAR, Apr 16: President Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) Pirpanjal, Javed Ahmed Rana while flaying the BJP Government at the Centre for its hollow policies asserted that only NC can fulfil the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir with its vision of a vibrant, progressive and united Jammu and Kashmir.
This was stated by him while addressing a meeting organized at Salwah village in Mendhar in which people of Salwah Nar expressed gratitude to him for starting the road work from Nartarkhana to Mussoriewala via Dorimal.
While addressing the gathering, Javed Rana said that BJP befooled the people with its hollow promises before the elections and the common people today realize that they have been totally betrayed by the saffron party.
He said that due to the anti-people policies of the Government, unemployment is at its peak, inflation has gone out of control amid the sky rocketing prices of essential commodities while the claims of unprecedented development stand exposed with the snail’s pace of almost all the works.
The former MLA demanded opening of Mughal Road for general public. He said that number of people from Rajouri and Poonch districts use to travel to Kashmir Province for their livelihood, relations and medical facilities and it is difficult and expensive for them to travel via Banihal tunnel.
