UDHAMPUR, Nov 25: National Panthers Party (NPP) MLA from Udhampur, Balwant Singh Mankotia, today criticized the National Conference-Congress Coalition Government for its failure to provide due rights to the Sarpanchs and Panchs.
Addressing large gathering of Sarpanchs and Panchs at party office here, Mr Mankotia said, “present Government is unable to provide due right to the Sarpanchs and Panchs under the Panchayati Raj Act”, adding “it is the only Panthers party which can fight for the cause of Panchs and Sarpanchs and provide them justice”.
He appealed the Sarpanchs and Panchs to teach a lesson to the Coalition Government by voting in favour of National Panthers party candidates.
All the Sarpanchs and Panchs assured to support the Panthers party candidates for the Legislative Council seats from Panchayat quota-Mohd Rafiq and Anita Thakur.
While addressing the gathering, contesting candidate Mohd Rafiq said that he would fight in the Council for their rights.
