Srinagar, Dec 21: Security forces this evening cordoned off Hajin area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district and conducted searches as they suspected the presence of at least three militants hiding there.
Army’s 13 RR and Special Operation Group (SOG) of police cordoned off Banger Mohalla and Wahab-Parray Mohalla of Hanjin village this evening after inputs about presence of militants inside the village.
The cordon around the village has been strengthened. However, there was no exchange of gunfire.
