Dr Jitendra Singh made a dig at the previous leaders from Jammu who he said sabotaged this project just to keep their Kashmir centric leaders in good humor. He gave full credit to PM Narendra Modi for brining the chief secretaries of two riparian states Jammu Kashmir and Punjab on negotiating table and signing of MoU on the project.
The people of the Jammu have a right to ask the leaders of opposition parties that why this project was not taken up in hand during last 45 years and what were the reasons for delaying it. He said he was ready for debate with MLA that what he did during his two term as MP for the Constituency and has he brought any major project for the Constituency during his tenure.
