Oppn unity not to see light of day for 2024 LS polls: Thakur

HAMIRPUR (HP), Feb 19:
Union Information-cum Broadcasting Minister, Anurag Thakur said on Sunday that the talks of opposition unity would not materialise as such things had already taken place in the past.
He said Bihar Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar was making such efforts as he was facing problems in his home state and was facing the whitewash by BJP in the coming Lok Sabha elections.
Union Minister who reached Amb Sunday by Vande Bharat train, on way to Hamirpur on a two-day visit to Hamirpur Parliamentary constituency Sunday said the intentions of Congress party and other opposition parties were still not clear and now there is some time left for the election, in such a situation, you can try again.
He said likewise the years 2014 and 2019, no one will be able to stand in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2024. Anurag Thakur said the country has moved forward honestly under the leadership of PM Modi.
At that time of Covid, Narendra Modi did the work of taking the country’s economy forward. Today the whole world is looking towards India to see how India can lead the world in different fields. India is once again ready to move forward under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi in the 2024 elections.
He said the plight of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is clearly reflected in his own statement. Once again corruption, Gundaraj, and Jungle Raj are in power in Bihar and the people of Bihar are troubled by Nitish Kumar. (PTI)
And that is why; he is trying to unite the opposition fearing a complete rout in hands of the BJP once again. (UNI)
