JAMMU, Mar 15: Former State president, BJP and ex Minister, Sat Sharma (CA) along with Corporator Ward 18, Dinesh Gupta started construction works of six lanes at Sarwal area. JMC officials, Mandal president BJP Janipur, Raveesh Mengi and a large number of local residents as well as political activists of the area were also present on the occasion.
The works will be constructed under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rs 24.18 lakh and the funds were allotted to the local Corporator for taking up various developmental works in his Ward.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the works have been taken up with the efforts of the Corporator who is always concerned about the welfare of masses residing in his Ward. He said that for the first in the history of Jammu and Kashmir such massive development is taking place and he compilmented the Central Government led by PM, Narendra Modi and JK Government headed by LG, Manoj Sinha for providing assistance to take up the pending works in all spheres of UT.
He said the opposition who has nothing left on ground is trying to defame the nationalist agenda of BJP but people across the nation have already understood that only BJP has the calibre to work for the welfare of mankind. He stated that in coming times more projects are in pipeline which will give a major change to the developmental scenario in UT and also asked the people to support the vision of the PM who wishes to see country emerges as Vishaw Guru.
Dinesh Gupta said that the works on these lanes were pending for a long time and now they have been taken up which will definitely overcome many problems being faced by inhabitants in recent times. He also complimented former MLA, Sat Sharma for taking up major developmental works worth crores of Rupees in the Ward which included blacktopping of all roads, changing of transformers and providing uninterrupted water supply to the public. Raveesh Mengi also addressed the gathering.
