Opposition unnerved with coalition’s popularity graph: Slathia

JAMMU, June 2 : Saying that all the promises made to the people would be fulfilled, former Minister and MLA Vijaypur, S.S.Slathia, said that Omar led Coalition Government has pooled out the resources to provide better basic facilities to the people especially in remote and far flung areas.
Addressing a public meeting at Nihalki in Vijaypur constituency, Slathia said that the tempo of development and welfare schemes will be further accelerated during the current year. He cautioned the people against the mechanization of the opposition, adding that they have no agenda to present before the people and are resorting to politics of deceits and lie. He said the people of the state are wise enough to differentiate their friends and foes. He asked the people to gauge the performance of the present Government by work done on ground and not to get swayed by false propaganda of Opposition.
Slathia gave a detailed account of the developmental projects and welfare schemes launched by the Government in nook and corner of the State, adding that no such development and progress took place during the regime of opposition. He said that opposition is unnerved with growing popularity graph of the present coalition, adding that they have foreseen their defeat in the 2014 election.
Slathia said that peace and tranquillity are prerequisite for further development and socio-economic transformation and nobody will be allowed to derail the peace initiative taken by the Omar led Coalition Government.
Earlier, Slathia inaugurated construction of Apna Panchayat Ghar at Songwal constructed by the Rural Development Department under the scheme FC-13/MGNREGA at an estimated cost of Rs. 20.00 lakh. He also directed the concerned to immediately take up the construction of boundary wall around the Panchayat Ghar.
Slathia released an album of Dogri songs produced by Putta Slathia and written by Bittu Jasrotia with music by Naveen Kumar in a function at Gurah Slathian.
