Organizational elections vital for healthy democracy: Koul

RAMBAN, Sept 2: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State general secretary (Org.), Ashok Koul today said organizational elections act as vital tool for healthy internal democracy in the party. Kaul was addressing party workshop of district Ramban here, today. He was also accompanied by party State vice-president, Rajeev Charak, district president, Ramesh Sharma and former MLA, Neelam Langeh.
Ashok Koul, while addressing the meeting presented complete outline of the organizational elections before the party activists. He discussed the procedures involved and asked them to do their job diligently. He said that they all have been entrusted with a core job that is going to further strength the organization, so they must perform their duty with utmost honesty and mind free from any type of favouritism. He said “this is the time when we are able to bring the change we want to be a part of, so party activists must make full use of this opportunity for giving a good framework to the organization”.
Koul, also prompted the designated activists to present the progress achieved on the memberships and further work to initiate the process of organizational elections. He said that this time the party has decided to leave no loophole in the system and achieve 100% fair elections on every single booth. He said that the other political parties are wondering, that how can this mammoth election process can be completed without making any fuss and with the perfect smoothness and added that they must learn that BJP has achieved this with the strongest principles and the cleanest ideology.
Rajeev Charak, in his address, said that the Prabharis of election officers must themselves witness every development during the entire process. He explained that this phase of elections will continue from September 11 to September 30, but our work will not be over till the entire process of organizational elections is completed starting right from booth level to the level of national president.
S. Varinderjit Singh and Munish Sharma, State incharge and co-incharge for BJP’s Organizational elections, said that with the conduct of party workshop at Ramban, the party has completed its training workshops in all the areas falling under Jammu province. They also said that the prompt effort has been made to ensure that the workforce involved in the process does represent every single booth of the province in sufficient manner, so as to serve the party purpose of professional approach for impartial conduct of organizational elections.
