JAMMU, May 29: Janipur Police arrested a resident of Orissa along with two kilograms of ganja.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Janipur led by SHO Inspector Ajaz Haider laid a naka and intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered two kilograms of ganja from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Gati Krishna Brar, son of Narayan Brar, a resident of Orissa.
A case under FIR Number 57/2022 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Janipur and investigation started.
