UDHAMPUR, Apr 16: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray here today took out an impressive rally in the town.
Main attraction of the rally was camels and horses ride. People of Udhampur welcomed and participated in the rally.
Shiv Sena candidate, Meenakshi Chibber (contesting Lok Sabha elections from Kathua-Udhampur seat) along with State Shiv Sena president, Dimpy Kohli with General Secretary, Manish Sahni and Udhampur District president, Sanjeev Kumar addressed the rally. Speaking on the occasion, Meenakshi assured one rank one pension (OROP) to all the para-military forces which has been denied by the BJP government.
She further promised overall development of the area along with equal distribution of funds and jobs.
The Shiv Sena candidate further said that need of the hour is to provide all benefits of migrants of Doda region at par with those of Kashmir who were ‘compelled to migrate from Kashmir’.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Harsh Kumar Gupta, Surjeet Singh, Raj Singh, Vikas Bakshi, Raju Salaria, Laxmi, Radika, Manju, Sapna, Rajinder Singh, Sham Lal, Darun Kapoor, Joginder Singh and others.
