JAMMU, Dec 3: A sit in protest was held by Kashmiri displaced people putting up at ORT Purkhoo camp today regarding erratic power supply and drinking water scarcity faced by them for last more than three days.
The protestors alleged that despite requesting concerned authorities no efforts were made to restore water supply in the ORT.
Socio/ political leaders M.K. Yogi and Vinod Pandita while addressing the protestors at ORT Purkhoo urged the authorities to solve the problems of these hapless people who are also living in inhuman conditions for years together as the authorities over the years failed to renovate these old quarters which are totally damaged.
