Kissan leader Mohan Singh joins Cong

JAMMU, May 2: The Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee chief, Vikar Rasool Wani today said that Congress represents the urges and aspirations of people and it will continue to serve them as an instrument of service and safeguard people’s rights.
He made these comments in Jammu today where Kissan leader Ch Mohan Singh along with supporters joined Congress and expressed confidence in the pro- people policies and programmes of Congress.
JKPCC chief welcomed the new entrants hoping that their joining will inspire others to join Congress given its pro people policies, transparent and principle-based politics.
Speaking on the occasion JKPCC chief Vikar Rasool Wani expressed confidence that the new entrants will utilize Congress platform to serve people to the best of their ability, besides strengthening Congress party further in their respective areas, as that, it is the Congress Party alone which represents urges and aspirations of the people in true sense.
“Congress Party is strong enough, it cannot be cowed down by the falsehood and malicious propaganda of BJP,” Wani added and urged the Party workers to remain steadfast to serve people and highlight their issues for their resolution.
Wani said many more political leaders are coming to join Congress given its pro people policies and exhorted the newly joined entrants to get connected with the people and ensure that Congress Party is strengthened further in their respective areas. He said Congress is a vibrant organization and only unifying force in the country. It will continue to work for empowerment and deliverance of justice to people.
Senior Congress leader and Chairman SC Department Karan Bhagat, Narinder Gupta, Chairman PCC Sports Cell, Gajan Singh Chairman Transport Cell, Badri Nath Sharma and Jatinder Bhagat were also present  on the occasion.
