KATHUA, Dec 2: Police today seized large quantity of polythene bags from an abandoned truck in Berian Pattan area of the district.
SSP Kathua Mohan Lal said that, police party from Kathua Police Station while on patrolling duty in Berian Pattan area, found an abandoned truck bearing registration number JK03B-7364.
During checking, polythene bags weighing 10 tones and 5 kilograms was recovered from the truck, he said, adding that truck has been seized and handed over to State Pollution Control Board for further action.
