KISHTWAR, Feb 17: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Javed Khan ordered suspension of over 125 employees working in various offices and also ordered enquiry.
DC deputed a team of senior district officers, who conducted surprise inspection of various offices in Kishtwar, Chatroo, Padder, Drabshalla, Sarthal, Marwah, Dachhan and Warwan areas for checking attendance of the employees.
The team found more than 125 employees including BDOs, CDPOs, TSOs, VSAs Medical Officers, junior assistants and range officers absent.
The team reported the matter to DC, who ordered suspension of all the officials, who were found absent. He also initiated enquiry against them.
Later, DC held a meeting of all district officers and impressed upon them to work as a team to ensure inclusive development of the region.
He said that law and order problems emanate from lack of development and hence fruits of progress should reach to the masses.
Mohammad Javed Khan discussed with all the officers regarding their thrust areas and major problems.
He assured all help and cautioned them of dire consequence, if anyone shows irresponsibility towards his duty.
